Overview
This role is for a Senior Financial Analyst focused on M&A integration within the technology sector. You will support end-to-end finance integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions across a global footprint, partnering with acquired company finance teams and internal stakeholders (including Corporate Development, Legal, Strategic Finance, Treasury, and Business Unit Finance) to enable seamless integration and value realization.
Responsibilities
- Support finance integration workstreams from pre-close through post-close execution for acquisitions.
- Perform and analyze deal-related financial activities, including:
- Net working capital assessments
- Closing adjustments
- Purchase price considerations
- Assist with evaluation of target company financials, liquidity planning, and forecasting in collaboration with Treasury and Finance teams.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with integrations and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support execution of integration plans.
- Manage project activities such as:
- Updating workplans
- Preparing executive reports
- Tracking milestone progress
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global stakeholders to help ensure timely delivery of integration objectives.
- Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses to optimize integration processes.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of finance integration playbooks, tools, and standard procedures.
- Support evaluation and implementation of AI-enabled tools to enhance workflow efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- 4 to 6+ years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, FP&A, audit (internal or external), or related fields.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, deal-related activities, and post-merger integration processes.
- Experience working within large multinational organizations.
- Familiarity with international or multi-entity business structures.
- Prior exposure to M&A or post-merger integration is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts for varied audiences.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Ability to operate efficiently across multiple time zones.
- Experience supporting business unit finance teams, process improvement initiatives, and familiarity with deal-related forecasting, accounting, or integration tracking tools.
