Overview
A leading aerospace, defense, and security organization is seeking a Financial Analyst Level 2 to join their Financial Analysis team in Grand Prairie, TX. This role supports program financial management by developing performance metrics, preparing detailed financial reports, and providing strategic guidance to stakeholders. The position involves close collaboration with control account managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and contract performance analysis. It offers a dynamic work environment with part-time remote work options.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor performance metrics to assess program financial health
- Prepare Contract Performance Reports (CPR) and other financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Review and validate Monthly Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates
- Assist in preparing review materials for internal and government interfaces
- Support budget preparation, schedule development, and variance analysis for contract work
- Collaborate with control account managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting
- Coordinate program business rhythm by organizing meetings and financial reviews with key stakeholders
- Support development of funding profiles and analyze financial performance against budgets
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of earned value management experience, preferably in aerospace or defense
- Post-secondary degree or training in finance, accounting, or related discipline
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with financial analysis tools and software
- Experience developing performance metrics and preparing detailed reports
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Capability to work remotely and manage time efficiently
