Overview
A premier AI research project is seeking Financial Analysts to contribute domain expertise in finance to the development of advanced large language models. This role involves creating challenging, real-world financial problems and evaluation criteria to support AI innovation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate asynchronously with a team of domain experts.
- Develop financial analysis tasks including SEC filing research, economic data extraction, and regulatory database navigation.
- Create detailed evaluation rubrics to assess AI agent performance.
- Commit approximately 15-20 hours per week, with potential for increased hours and project extension.
Requirements
- MBA, CFA, or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field from a top university in the US, Canada, UK, New Zealand, or Australia.
- Experience using financial databases such as SEC EDGAR, Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.
- Professional background in investment banking, trading, equity research, or financial analysis.
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Currently based in the US, Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working remotely and independently.
- Ability to work asynchronously with a distributed team.
Compensation & Contract
- Engagement as an independent contractor.
- Fully remote role with flexible scheduling.
- Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
- Paid onboarding time including screening and training (up to 1 hour).
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- No access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution is required.
- Note: Candidates on H1-B or STEM OPT visas are not supported at this time.
