Financial Analyst (REMOTE)

Overview

A government services organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support their team and government customers. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) principles and IT expertise, including familiarity with DISA’s DWCF emerging technologies and offerings, to provide business support and analysis to the DWCF Customer Support Team.
• Stay current with advances in IT such as Microsoft Office applications and recommend improvements and enhancements to DISA processes and templates.
• Develop business documents and maintain reporting tools and key milestones.
• Perform inventory management analysis using DISA’s enterprise system and the Requirements Management Process.
• Monitor customer billing and invoice activities, initiate and coordinate requested changes, and ensure timely and accurate debit and/or credit billing corrections.
• Develop and compile accurate data for creating and maintaining Planning Estimates.
• Communicate with customers and Resource Managers to ensure Planning Estimates accurately reflect the customer’s environment and current billing execution.
• Notify customers promptly and courteously of any funding shortfalls related to Planning Estimates and ensure proper procedures are followed to collect those shortfalls.
• Provide customers with financial guidance on existing systems and represent their financial interests in new implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (relevant experience may be substituted for education)
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
• Secret Clearance
