Overview
This contract role seeks an Accounting Expert to contribute specialized accounting knowledge toward training next-generation AI systems. The expert will collaborate with technical teams to provide domain insights that help shape AI models' learning, reasoning, and performance, particularly in the finance industry.
Responsibilities
- Advise on complex accounting issues and support high-stakes decision-making to enhance core operations and business growth.
- Participate in client consultations to evaluate potential new business opportunities, offering insights to identify risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with technical staff to inform research projects with expert accounting knowledge, ensuring AI systems are trained on accurate financial data.
- Develop and review sample scenarios and tasks to test and improve accounting processes within AI pipelines.
- Proactively assess risks beyond compliance and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
Requirements
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, capable of collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in accounting, including a deep understanding of financial principles, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $100 - $300
