Overview
This Senior Financial Analyst – M&A Integration role supports the Finance Integration Management Office, focusing on end-to-end financial integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions across a global footprint. You will collaborate with finance teams from acquired companies and internal partners across Corporate Development, Legal, Strategic Finance, Treasury, and Business Unit Finance.
Responsibilities
- Support finance workstreams throughout the entire M&A lifecycle, from pre-close planning to post-close execution.
- Perform detailed financial analyses related to deals, including net working capital assessments, closing adjustments, and purchase price considerations.
- Assist in evaluating target company financials, liquidity planning, and forecasting with Treasury and Finance teams.
- Identify potential financial risks associated with integrations and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage integration projects by maintaining workplans, providing updates, and preparing reports for executive leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across different regions to ensure timely achievement of integration milestones and deliverables.
- Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support strategic decision-making and process optimization.
- Assist in developing, refining, and implementing finance integration playbooks, tools, and standardized processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Support the evaluation and deployment of AI-enabled tools to streamline finance integration workflows and improve accuracy.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, FP&A, audit (internal or external), or related roles.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear insights for diverse audiences.
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments with stakeholder interaction responsibilities.
- Ownership mindset, proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Ability to operate effectively across global, multi-time-zone environments.
- Prior experience supporting business unit finance teams, M&A, or post-merger integration is preferred.
- Preferred exposure to large multinational organizations, process improvement initiatives, international or multi-entity business structures, and deal-related forecasting or accounting.
