Overview
- Role: Financial Data Analyst

This contractor position involves applying financial expertise to support the training of next-generation AI systems. The role focuses on providing high-quality, real-world financial data inputs that influence how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Collaboration with data science and product teams is a key aspect, sharing financial insights to enhance model development. Prior AI experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data to ensure accurate annotations and data quality.
- Use advanced spreadsheet techniques to organize, validate, and manipulate large financial datasets.
- Label, annotate, and categorize financial data with consistency and precision.
- Review and validate financial documents for completeness and compliance with guidelines.
- Collaborate with data science and product teams to communicate financial insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify trends and patterns in financial data using advanced spreadsheet methods.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions.
- Continuously improve annotation processes and stay current with industry best practices in financial data analysis.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet tools, including data manipulation, validation, visualization, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience handling financial data such as statements, reports, and documents.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate between $40 and $70.
