Overview
- Role: Financial Data Analyst
- Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
- Compensation: $40 - $70/hour
This contractor position involves applying financial expertise to support the training of next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world financial data input. The role directly impacts the finance industry and includes collaboration with data science and product teams to share financial insights. Prior AI experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data to ensure accurate annotations and data quality.
- Label, annotate, and categorize financial data consistently and precisely.
- Review and validate financial documents for completeness and compliance with guidelines.
- Collaborate with data science and product teams to communicate financial insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced spreadsheet techniques to organize, validate, and manipulate large datasets.
- Identify trends and patterns in financial data and develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions.
- Continuously improve annotation processes and stay current with industry developments and best practices in financial data analysis.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills, including data manipulation, validation, visualization, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with financial data such as financial statements, reports, and documents.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate between $40 and $70.
