Overview
- Role: Financial Data Analyst
- Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)
- Compensation: $40 - $70/hour
This contractor position involves applying financial expertise to support the training of next-generation AI systems. The role focuses on providing high-quality, real-world financial data input to improve how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Collaboration with data science and product teams is a key aspect, sharing financial insights to influence AI development. Prior AI experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data to ensure accurate annotations and data quality.
- Label, annotate, and categorize financial data consistently and precisely.
- Review and validate financial documents for completeness and compliance with guidelines.
- Collaborate with data science and product teams to communicate financial insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced spreadsheet techniques to organize, validate, and manipulate large datasets.
- Identify trends and patterns in financial data and develop complex financial models to support business decisions.
- Continuously improve annotation processes and stay current with industry best practices in financial data analysis.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced spreadsheet skills, including data manipulation, validation, visualization, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with financial data such as financial statements, reports, and documents.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate between $40 and $70.
