Financial Management Director

Overview

This role is focused on strengthening financial management processes, internal controls, and supporting business process re-engineering. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments and integrating data management, analysis, and visualization capabilities into accounting and financial processes to support continuous audit readiness and fraud prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams and work with clients to strengthen financial management processes and internal controls

• Create continuous audit readiness and fraud prevention capabilities

Requirements

• Active and maintained “SECRET” Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• TEN (10) + minimum years of experience of financial management experience
• Strong communications skills to support client engagement and brief senior client executives
• Experience translating policy and standards into programmatic actions and project delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with the Department of War financial improvement and audit readiness (FIAR) engagements
• Experience with non-appropriated funds

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary range: $179,000.00-$298,000.00
• Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
