Responsibilities

  • Manage partner billing and invoicing through Stripe.
  • Set up and maintain partner accounts, subscriptions, products, and pricing.
  • Review invoices, process billing changes, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to partner billing questions.
  • Calculate, report, and project Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
  • Reconcile projected/expected revenue against actual billed revenue.
  • Build and maintain forward-looking revenue projections based on contracts, renewals, annual payments, new partners, cancellations, pricing changes, and other known variables.
  • Identify revenue trends, variances, and potential shortfalls; communicate insights to leadership.
  • Provide financial data and analysis to support budgeting, cash-flow planning, hiring decisions, and other organizational planning.
  • Track annual-pay partners and account for them appropriately in MRR.
  • Track contract terms, renewal dates, pricing changes, and annual billing dates.
  • Prepare renewal agreements and contract amendments; ensure finalized changes are reflected in billing.
  • Calculate monthly staff commissions and prepare commission reports for leadership.
  • Coordinate with the bookkeeper as needed.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience where revenue operations, financial reporting, forecasting, accounting, financial analysis, or similar responsibilities made up the majority of the role.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented; able to investigate and resolve discrepancies (including small differences).
  • Ability to turn financial data into actionable insights—beyond calculating MRR, including projection, trend/variance identification, and clear explanations for leadership.
  • Highly proficient with spreadsheets and financial data, including comfort with reconciliations, recurring revenue, percentages, projections, and financial reporting.
  • High ownership and agency; able to manage recurring responsibilities and deadlines independently without constant oversight.
  • Strong communication—flag issues early and request needed information before it becomes a problem.
  • Ability to investigate and ask questions rather than guessing when numbers don’t make sense.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience reconciling revenue against agreements/contracts and managing billing changes tied to contract updates.
  • Experience coordinating commission calculations and reporting.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Part-time, fully remote: Approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Compensation: $23–$26/hour, commensurate with experience, education, and expertise.
  • 16 hours of PTO annually.
  • Paid holidays.
