The platform supports thousands of dispensaries across more than 40 markets in the United States and Canada.
Opportunity
The Financial Operations Specialist supports the Finance and Accounting teams with billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes. This role helps maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely billing, and assist with collections to support the organization’s financial health.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile customer invoices accurately and promptly.
- Identify and correct billing errors.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist in resolving overdue accounts.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements for billing and collections.
- Prepare reports on billing status, payments, and collections metrics.
- Support month-end close activities through accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Collaborate with teams such as Sales, Customer Success, and Business Systems on billing inquiries.
- Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
- Engage with customers to resolve payment issues and apply payments accurately.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or financial operations.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial software such as Salesforce, Sage Intacct, or Zuora is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset with willingness to learn and grow.
- Experience with or exposure to AI-powered tools and interest in applying AI to financial operations.
- Ability to build product and domain expertise to engage stakeholders credibly.
- Experience driving improvements in cross-functional processes and systems.
- Communication skills adaptable to senior stakeholders and diverse audiences.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary targeted between $56,000 and $74,000 based on role level.
