Overview
This position is for a Financial Performance Analyst 3 with a remote work schedule (Full-time, Day Shift: Monday–Friday, general office hours).
Remote eligibility is available for candidates residing in: VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operational service line leaders, Finance, Information Technology, Analytics, and other departments on routine and ad-hoc projects.
- Analyze moderate- to complex data sources containing financial data, costs, revenue trends, and performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity and propose recommendations to improve efficiency.
- Develop and test reports and analyses from various sources (e.g., financial ERP, electronic health records, benchmark tools).
- Develop report logic, process design, and implement projects and processes (e.g., cost accounting).
- Conduct data gathering and reporting of financial and statistical metrics on state and external surveys (e.g., VHI, AHA).
- Review processes and projects to ensure proper data definitions are defined and data integrity is upheld across all reports and dashboards.
- Work with the Data Management & Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business management, or other related field OR additional 4 years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience: 3 years in Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Statistics, related field, or equivalent operational experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
- Healthcare experience (operational experience in Patient Access: registration/scheduling/authorization).
