Financial Reporting & Analysis Principal
Overview
This position is responsible for leading and controlling financial reporting and analysis, as well as developing and implementing the organization’s financial reporting strategy. The role also advises and consults with senior management on financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead and control financial reporting and analysis
- Develop and implement the organization’s financial reporting strategy
- Advise and consult senior management on financial accounting, reporting, and analysis
- Provide leadership across multiple teams within a large organization
- Manage projects with strong attention to detail, time management, and prioritization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
- 5 years accounting and financial reporting experience
- 2 years supervisor and/or leadership experience, including skills in:
- Motivation
- Employee development
- Performance management
- Hiring
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Established project management experience and ability to work with numerous different groups throughout a large organization
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Insurance statutory accounting and reporting experience
Compensation & Benefits
- $92,700.00 - $167,500.00
