Overview

This role involves supporting the business by providing actionable financial and operational information to aid in strategic and operational decision-making. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will analyze diverse data sets including financial, operational, clinical, and economic information to make recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Own expense budgets for various organizational functions, influencing profitability and supporting strategic investment decisions
  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance financial processes and improve communication across all organizational levels
  • Manage and maintain accurate forecasts and budgets in collaboration with business partners, ensuring timely input into financial systems
  • Navigate complex interdependencies to streamline forecasting processes
  • Provide detailed monthly reports on actual financial results with insightful commentary
  • Maintain close communication with business partners to ensure alignment with budgets, forecasts, and financial goals
  • Drive efficiency and accuracy improvements in forecasting processes, from data collection through analysis
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned with any changes affecting their areas of responsibility
  • Complete month-end deliverables accurately, including variance analysis
  • Prepare financial summaries and reports for leadership presentations, including budget updates and forecasts
  • Develop high-quality leadership reporting that offers actionable insights

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with complex data sets and strong analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and core accounting concepts
  • Experience with Netsuite preferred

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000 - $95,000 per year
  • Actual offer may vary based on geographic location, years of experience, and skill level
