Overview
This role supports private fund managers across the private funds and management company life cycle, including investment execution, investor experience, and compliance, finance, and human resources solutions needed to meet regulatory requirements.
The organization is seeking a Fund Accounting Senior Associate to deliver high-quality, accountable service while managing fund accounting deliverables and related reporting.
Responsibilities
- Review private fund accounting, investor reporting, audit, and tax deliverables
- Review and verify fund accounting data in the organization’s CRM and Investor Portals
- Coordinate investment and operating transactions for private funds
- Compile accounting and investment data for regulatory reports such as 13-F and Form ADV
- Prepare subscription and investment documentation for private funds
- Assist with training and developing new team members during onboarding
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience with private equity or private fund accounting
- Working understanding of GAAP and basic understanding of tax concepts specific to private funds
- Familiarity with key concepts such as free calculations, capital activities, and operational best practices
- Strong organizational and written communication skills
- Exacting attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Team-oriented mindset with an enthusiastic work ethic
- Ability to learn the organization’s processes quickly and thoroughly

- Annual base salary range: $90,000 to $115,000 (commensurate with experience and success)
- Quarterly bonus with unlimited growth potential: 1/3 of profits shared with team members each quarter
Location
Primarily remote. Some training for this role may be delivered in person using client sites or local coworking locations, and clients may request on-site support from time to time. Expectations for any in-person training or support time will be outlined during the interview process.
