Overview

A leading global investment bank is seeking a Healthcare Investment Banking Analyst or Associate to support M&A execution, capital raising, and strategic advisory within the healthcare and life sciences sectors. This role offers exposure to transactions involving biotech, pharmaceutical, medtech, and healthcare services companies.

Location

Compensation

  • Analyst: $150,000 – $250,000+ total compensation
  • Associate: $250,000 – $450,000+ total compensation (varies by firm)

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of M&A transactions, IPOs, and capital raises in healthcare
  • Build detailed financial models including DCF, LBO, and merger models
  • Perform operating and valuation analyses
  • Conduct market research across biotech, pharmaceutical, medtech, and healthcare services sectors
  • Prepare pitchbooks, investor materials, and client presentations
  • Participate in due diligence covering financial, clinical, product, and regulatory areas
  • Analyze industry trends and company performance metrics
  • Assist with deal structuring, transaction logistics, and closing processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Biology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of valuation, financial modeling, and corporate finance
  • Interest in healthcare markets, biotech innovation, or medical technology
  • Experience in investment banking, consulting, equity research, or life sciences preferred
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
