Overview
This role is for a Credit Analyst specializing in High Yield corporate credit sectors. The analyst will work closely with Portfolio Management and the Senior Analyst to generate trade ideas, respond to market volatility, and cover multiple sectors with depth and agility. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Credit Portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage coverage across multiple High Yield corporate credit sectors, adjusting focus based on market opportunities and volatility.
- Develop trade recommendations and relative value analyses for Portfolio Management.
- Perform fundamental credit analysis including financial modeling, covenant review, capital structure assessment, and identification of event-driven catalysts.
- Monitor portfolio holdings and watchlists, identifying emerging risks and opportunities.
- Stay informed on market-moving developments such as earnings, refinancings, M&A, rating actions, and technical factors.
- Utilize analytical tools to improve workflow efficiency, synthesis, and speed of analysis.
- Collaborate remotely with Portfolio Management in a high-trust environment to influence real-time decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in High Yield corporate credit analysis.
- Experience covering multiple sectors with the ability to move fluidly across subsectors.
- Proven ability to generate trade ideas quickly and synthesize information under pressure.
- Proficiency with Excel, Bloomberg, and comfort using AI tools to accelerate research and workflows.
- Self-starter who excels working autonomously and delivers high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset suited for a small, remote team.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $113,000 - $194,000, varying by job level and geographic location.
- Relocation support available for eligible candidates.
- Total compensation includes base salary and variable compensation commensurate with experience.

Work Environment & Travel
- Primarily home-based role with approximately 80% remote work (4+ days per week).
