Overview
This remote position offers experienced insurance professionals the opportunity to continue their careers from home, providing flexibility with full or part-time schedules. The role focuses on leveraging extensive insurance industry knowledge in a long-term, benefits-eligible position.
Responsibilities
- Manage the General Ledger including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Commission Payable.
- Prepare monthly management and producer commission payable reports.
- Reconcile carrier commission statements and resolve accounting discrepancies with insurance carriers and/or producers.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Maintain the budget using Excel and agency management systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 25 years of full-time work experience.
- At least 10 most recent years of premium accounting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agency management systems such as Epic, AMS360, and Sagitta.
- High demand for candidates with Epic experience.
