Insurance Agency Bookkeeper - REMOTE

Overview

Remote, long-term Insurance Agency Bookkeeper roles are available to support retail broker, wholesale broker, and MGA clients. This position allows qualified candidates to continue using their insurance and premium accounting expertise while working from home, with options for full-time or part-time schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage the General Ledger, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Commission Payable.
• Prepare monthly management reports and producer commission payable reports.
• Reconcile carrier commission statements.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies with insurance carriers and/or producers.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Maintain the budget using both Excel and an agency management system.

Requirements

• 25 years of full-time work experience.
• 10 most current years of premium accounting experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Epic and agency management systems, including AMS360 and Sagitta (preferred).
• High demand for EPIC experience.
