Investment Banking Analyst

Overview

This role involves working as an Investment Banking Professional on a contract basis, focusing on evaluating AI-generated outputs related to financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and deal structuring. The position is fully remote with compensation ranging from $95 to $115 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess AI-generated financial models, valuation methods, and deal structures.
• Develop realistic scenarios reflecting investment banking workflows, including deal screening and due diligence checklists.
• Annotate, label, and validate data across various investment banking use cases such as financial statement analysis and capital structure optimization.
• Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy concerning SEC regulations and financial terminology.
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to improve evaluation frameworks for financial services AI.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience at a bulge bracket, elite boutique, middle market, or regional investment bank.
• Experience in M&A advisory, equity or debt capital markets, leveraged finance, or restructuring.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate deal workflows into structured evaluation tasks.
• Clear written communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of Series 7, 63, 79 licenses or CFA designation.
• Experience in industry coverage groups such as TMT, healthcare, industrials, or financial institutions group (FIG).
