Overview
This entry-level Jr. Billing Analyst role supports billing operations and serves as a point of contact for internal billing inquiries. The position involves implementing administrative procedures and daily communication via phone and email to address questions, concerns, and ensure billing accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to internal and external clients regarding billing, invoices, and accuracy.
- Research payroll issues for clients and internal teams.
- Deliver professional customer service and collaborate with other representatives.
- Coordinate with various departments to verify billing information accuracy.
- Monitor and respond to incoming requests for the Billing Team, providing support as needed.
- Reconcile client account billings and resolve discrepancies.
- Create and maintain reports as required by management.
- Monitor client contracts and service agreements.
- Prepare and send invoices.
- Audit invoices and payments for accuracy, enforcing practices to ensure timeliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- College degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must reside in the Eastern Time Zone.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly learn and proficiently use company software and other relevant programs.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Highly motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of handling a high volume of inquiries and serious scenarios professionally.
- Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
Work Environment
- Professional office setting.
- Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners.
- Overtime may be required during quarter-end and year-end periods.
Position Details
- Full-time position.
- Workdays are Monday through Friday.
- Work schedule must fall within business hours of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
