Overview
This role is for a highly analytical, detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join the corporate finance team of a high-growth, venture-backed global SaaS and technology platform organization.
The position supports variance analysis, corporate budgeting models, and rolling cash-flow forecasting. You will help consolidate data and turn business metrics into clear, actionable financial reports for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Financial modeling support: Update, audit, and maintain corporate three-statement financial forecasting models and rolling short-term cash projections.
- Variance auditing & analysis: Track monthly budget-versus-actual financial lines, identify discrepancies, and flag specific division expenditure spikes to senior analysts.
- Data synthesis & reporting: Gather operational data from various domestic and global business units to compile comprehensive monthly corporate finance reporting packages.
- Bilingual documentation: Translate, draft, and synthesize financial metrics and presentation materials to support clear executive communication between international corporate entities.
- Market & trend research: Monitor macroeconomic indicators, industry benchmarks, and software-sector trends to support market expansion modeling and competitive analysis forecasts.
Requirements
- Language mastery: Absolute professional fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal).
- Education & domain literacy: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or an equivalent quantitative discipline.
- Technical Excel skills: Exceptional spreadsheet modeling capabilities in Microsoft Excel (proficient with VLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, and dynamic financial formulas).
- Core financial acumen: Foundational understanding of corporate financial statements, valuation methodologies (NPV/IRR), and standard accounting fundamentals.
- Analytical mindset: Structured approach to problem-solving with a keen eye for identifying data patterns, anomalies, and potential process efficiencies.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 – $80,000 USD per year
