This opportunity is with a leading organization in the retail and consumer products industry seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to lead merchandise payables operations. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end merchandise Accounts Payable process, including invoice matching and vendor reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate cost and coding alignment
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize Accounts Payable workflows and overall performance
- Administer vendor loans and manage deposits throughout the Purchase Order lifecycle
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in retail, wholesale, or consumer products sectors
- Supervisory or team lead experience overseeing Accounts Payable or related operational processes
- Strong knowledge of merchandise payables, inventory accounting, and Procure-to-Pay workflows
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with automation tools or data visualization platforms
