Overview

This role involves supporting employee leave and payroll calculations as part of a Customer Experience team focused on leave management solutions. The position requires preparing customized payroll plans and reconciliations for customers, collaborating with internal teams and customers' payroll departments, and contributing to product improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide internal support to leave specialists by preparing personalized payroll plans and payroll reconciliations for customers' payroll teams.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in payroll calculations, meeting customers' payroll deadlines.
  • Maintain correct payroll plans on the leave management dashboard.
  • Collaborate with leave specialists, sales, marketing, and engineering teams through various communication channels.
  • Work with onboarding specialists to understand customers' payroll needs and assist in setting up customized payroll plans, schedules, and workflows.
  • Share best practices related to leave payroll with customers and internal teams.
  • Collect and share product feedback to identify improvements in payroll calculation software and services.
  • Provide input on payroll system integrations.
  • Implement process improvements to resolve inefficiencies and address customer pain points.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data-focused operations, payroll, accounting, or bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in Excel, including functions, formulas, and cell formatting.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly and empathetically explain complex information and adapt to different communication styles.
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-directed learner with adaptability and openness to feedback in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Interest in a non-traditional payroll role focused on creating payroll plans rather than full-cycle payroll.
  • Willingness to become a subject matter expert and a go-to resource for payroll-related matters.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time, non-exempt hourly position.
  • Hourly pay ranges from $23.53 to $29.09, based on legal state of residence.

Location

  • Remote position with employees working across the United States.
