Overview
This role involves supporting the servicing of a portfolio of commercial real estate loans, including CMBS, balance sheet, and agency loans. The Loan Support Analyst will be based within the Midland footprint and assist with loan servicing activities to ensure compliance with loan documents, accurate transaction processing, and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Identify and contact authorized parties to complete Borrower Admin registration for CRE Insight access
- Process borrower requests received via phone, email, and CRE Insight portal
- Research and process incoming and aged funds
- Monitor delinquencies and perform collection activities
- Review and process borrower-requested late charge waivers
- Complete address changes, audit confirmations, and rate cap reviews
- Communicate and collaborate with functional departments to assist borrowers with questions or issues
- Analyze and interpret complex loan agreements to apply loan terms accurately
- Resolve non-compliance issues through written and verbal communication with internal and external parties
- Review and process loan payments, escrows, and reserve account disbursements
- Assist in preparation of periodic investor, internal, and regulatory reports
- Perform covenant compliance testing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan servicing records
- Support onboarding of new loans and transition of paid-off or transferred loans
- Support tax and insurance administration
- Perform collection activities on delinquent accounts
- May have funds disbursement authority
- Review reports to identify exceptions, ensure quality, and contribute to risk mitigation efforts
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent education
- Typically requires 4+ years of related business or functional experience; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Strong analytical thinking and capital management skills
- Knowledge of compliance requirements, loan documentation, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies
- Competencies include accuracy and attention to detail, consulting, customer interaction, decision making and critical thinking, effective communication, financial analysis, managing multiple priorities, operational functions, products and services, and relationship management
- Must be customer focused and able to manage risk in alignment with enterprise risk management frameworks

Location
Position is based within the Midland footprint. Remote work may be eligible in select geographic locations subject to approval. Remote work requires a quiet, secure, and confidential home workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required.
