Fully Remote

This role supports the legal industry by managing and delivering accurate financial data and metrics that are critical to legal financial systems. The position oversees a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing financial reporting systems, translating metrics into reporting queries, and building/maintaining reporting applications.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage financial systems staff, including workload assignment and performance evaluations.
Communicate project and workload status to senior management.
Translate financial metrics and KPIs into data queries for reporting.
Understand and document SQL table structures of finance and accounting software, primarily 3E.
Develop and modify SQL functions and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Architect, design, test, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain financial applications using PowerBI.
Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to develop reports using PowerBI and SSRS.
Ensure system coherence between finance, accounting applications, and IT infrastructure.
Integrate data across various financial environments specialized for the legal industry.
Provide training on SSAS and SSIS to reporting team members.
Exercise discretion and sound judgment in executing responsibilities.
Maintain reliable attendance and communication during scheduled work shifts.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in the legal industry.
Preferred: 2 years of management experience.
Extensive background in legal financial reporting and financial applications.
Experience in leadership roles within legal financial systems and reporting operations.
