Overview
A leading aerospace and defense organization is seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FI/CO) Functional Analyst to join their Enterprise Services team. This remote role requires a U.S. citizen due to program access restrictions. The position involves supporting and enhancing SAP financial systems to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, day-to-day SAP production support to ensure system efficiency.
- Deliver solutions that comply with customer requirements, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and regulations including GAAP, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
- Act as a subject matter expert supporting business processes and aligning them with system requirements across multiple SAP modules.
- Collaborate with a diverse user base to support system change requests, develop functional specifications, and ensure successful project execution.
- Support the full SAP FI-CO functional lifecycle: design, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Monitor deliverables, respond to ad-hoc requests, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience supporting or using financial software applications, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science (STEM), or related field; or a minimum of 5 years’ experience with an advanced degree.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
- Working knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Human Resources (HR) modules.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience across the IT lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, change management, and system optimization.
- Familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cost and financial accounting within the defense or aerospace industry.
- Functional finance experience focused on SAP.
- Project management skills with the ability to lead ad-hoc initiatives during critical project phases.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with global SAP deployment and implementation.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $107,500 to $204,500 USD, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Location
- This is a remote position based in the United States. Candidates residing in U.S. territories will have pay structures and benefits applicable to their location.
- Some onsite presence may be required depending on proximity to company sites and managerial discretion.
