Overview

An organization specializing in enterprise intelligence and AI solutions is seeking a Manager of Strategic Pricing to lead pricing and packaging strategy for its global services portfolio. This portfolio includes Support, Consulting, Managed Services, Transaction Services, and AI Services/Forward Deployed Engineering. The role is critical in shaping pricing approaches that align with evolving market demands and the company's AI services offerings.

Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Design

  • Lead pricing strategy for all Services offerings in alignment with the organization's overall Pricing Transformation.
  • Conduct cost modeling, customer value analysis, competitive benchmarking, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
  • Develop pricing frameworks aligned with cloud consumption models, unit pricing, and annual recurring revenue (ARR) expansion motions.
  • Drive the transition from cost-plus to value-based pricing across the Services portfolio.
  • Continuously improve pricing processes to reduce friction and accelerate sales velocity.

Operational Execution

  • Own end-to-end pricing execution, including systems readiness (CPQ/OCI), documentation, enablement, and field rollout.
  • Collaborate with Product Operations and CPQ teams to ensure accurate configuration, orderability, and SKU governance.
  • Establish scalable pricing processes for annual reviews, new launches, and price changes.

Analytics & Insights

  • Lead analytical efforts to identify margin opportunities, pricing leakage, and optimization levers.
  • Build dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure pricing performance and inform strategic decisions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the primary pricing partner to Services leadership, Product Management, and Finance.
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders and influence decisions at senior levels.
  • Communicate pricing strategies and recommendations clearly to executive audiences.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience developing and implementing pricing strategies, including as-a-service (aaS), recurring revenue, and consumption-based models.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technology or cloud services; experience in data warehousing or analytics is preferred.
  • Strong services pricing experience in a B2B or B2B2E product company, ideally in cloud or enterprise software.
  • Deep understanding of the full spectrum of services: Support, Consulting, Managed Services, Transaction Services, and AI Services.
  • Strategic and operational mindset with the ability to navigate both high-level strategy and detailed execution.
  • Deep understanding of data and computing technologies, including compute, storage, and cloud architectures.
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate innovative pricing strategies.
  • Strong research capabilities, including qualitative, quantitative, and customer value research.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to influence across Product, Services, Sales, and Finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience with analytics tools and experimentation frameworks.
  • Prior experience in cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
