- Role: Member of Technical Staff, Finance Research

- Compensation: $400K - $800K per year
This role involves conducting in-depth financial research and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The position focuses on identifying high-impact opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex financial insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on financial markets, macroeconomic trends, and industry-specific developments.
- Develop models to evaluate investment strategies, risk factors, and potential returns for institutional and retail portfolios.
- Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and regulatory filings to assess corporate performance and valuation.
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to build and refine tools for automated financial analysis and reporting.
- Present findings to senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, to support high-stakes decision-making.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for financial modeling and data analysis.
- Strong background in financial accounting, corporate finance, or investment research with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with statistical analysis, econometrics, or machine learning techniques applied to financial data.
- Ability to interpret and synthesize large datasets to derive actionable financial insights.
- Familiarity with financial databases such as Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, FactSet, or alternative data sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey complex financial concepts.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams to deploy analytical tools in production environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
