Overview
A financial services organization is seeking a Production Analyst to join the Multifamily Northeast Region team based in New York, NY. This role supports the Production Team in originating and structuring permanent (long-term) financing and recapitalization for commercial multifamily properties. The position also involves secondary responsibilities in business development and new product initiatives.
Note: Candidates must reside in the NY Metro area to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Team with origination and structuring of multifamily loans
- Support business development efforts and new product initiatives
- Participate in marketing calls regarding new products and processes
- Join joint marketing calls with active borrowers in the assigned territory
- Attend industry events as needed
- Manage the loan pipeline for the assigned team and region
- Collaborate with underwriting to negotiate transaction terms and ensure smooth execution
- Conduct property inspections and preliminary deal sizing according to credit policies
- Oversee quoting and deal structuring processes
- Assist with deal management through rate lock and address issues during underwriting, commitment, and closing phases
Requirements
- 0-1 year of commercial real estate experience; emphasis in multifamily is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and provide dynamic solutions
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly to time-sensitive situations
- Prior experience with relationship management
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $74,000 - $110,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Eligibility to participate in an annual incentive program
