Overview

This role focuses on providing tax planning and tax compliance guidance to owners of clients and supporting large, complex tax projects. Responsibilities include leading projects, maintaining operational excellence, innovating processes to improve tax reporting and compliance, and managing partnership K-1 income, state tax credits, and composite returns. Work also involves leading and collaborating with team members virtually and interacting with clients at a senior level.

Responsibilities

  • Manage partnership K-1 income, state tax credits, and composite returns
  • Lead and collaborate with team members virtually
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve client satisfaction
  • Interact with clients at a senior level to drive project success

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting
  • 6 years of experience
  • CPA, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Consulting experience with affluent individuals on tax and financial planning
  • Thorough technical skills in partnership K-1 income and state tax credits
  • Experience identifying and addressing complex client needs
  • Experience leading teams and coaching others
  • Experience developing relationships and sharing planning ideas
  • Knowledge of automation and digitization solutions
  • Experience leading implementation of solutions to improve quality and reduce hours
  • Thorough project management skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $91,000 - $321,500
  • Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
