Overview

This role is responsible for managing payment workflows and shareholder documentation for complex M&A and loan agency transactions. Work includes both processing and decision-making support in a fast-paced, data-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process Letters of Transmittal and other legal documentation submitted via mail and email; complete required data entry within the applicable SLA and maintain the integrity of the system of record
  • Interact with security holders via phone and email regarding deficiencies following review of account packets
  • Create payment files to meet daily payment deadlines
  • Process returned payments and stop check requests
  • Own individual transactions and serve as a go-to contact for questions from security holders and coworkers
  • Track document retention requirements and implement procedures for proper disposal to remain compliant with FINRA standards
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience, exceed SLAs, and improve efficiency
  • Maintain and support a flexible schedule based on deal pace and client needs, which may include evening or weekend hours

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of experience in operations, financial services, or other documentation-heavy roles
  • Comfort working with large volumes of data and handling sensitive information
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across the organization
  • Strong written communication skills, including for stakeholder correspondence and internal handoffs
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage time effectively
  • Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Familiarity with tools like NetSuite, Adobe, and document workflows (preferred)

Location

This position is either:

  • Hybrid out of our Denver, CO office, or
  • Fully remote from within the Continental United States.

Hybrid vs. Fully Remote Expectations

  • If the selected candidate lives within a 20-mile radius of downtown Denver, they will be classified as a hybrid employee. Beginning September 8, 2026, working one day per week in office is expected. Beginning February 1, 2027, two days per week in the office will be expected.
  • If the selected candidate lives outside a 20-mile radius of the Denver office, they will be classified as fully remote. In-person onsite visits to the Denver headquarters will be required on average three times per year.

  • Must be available to work standard business hours, and occasionally evenings/weekends if needed.
