Phone Premium Auditor (Experienced)

Overview

A well-established organization specializing in debt recovery and financial solutions is seeking a Phone Auditor to join their insurance audit and loss control prevention team. This role involves examining financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, with a focus on detecting fraud and verifying adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and types of records required
• Send letters requesting required information
• Communicate with insured parties via phone, email, and mail
• Analyze data to determine correct classifications for business activities and write clear descriptions of operations
• Prepare complete audit documentation, explain results to insured parties, and communicate findings to review staff
• Enter progress notes and submit completed audits for review

Requirements

• Experience in phone auditing is required
• Background in bookkeeping, accounting, or commercial insurance
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents
• General PC proficiency including Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Visual Audit software is a plus
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and staff
