Overview
An organization in the healthcare revenue management SaaS sector is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Pricing Analyst. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to develop foundational expertise in pricing strategy, contributing to commercial pricing and business model efforts. Responsibilities
- Support the commercial team with existing pricing models and assist in developing and evaluating alternative pricing structures
- Collaborate with product teams to determine differentiated pricing strategies to support sales growth
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve the pricing process
- Drive business model and pricing strategy and policies to maximize profitability
- Work with senior leadership on accounting and finance pricing decisions related to commercial opportunities
- Assist the commercial team in developing pricing proposals, evaluating strategic options, and responding to customer RFP inquiries
- Collaborate with commercial teams and operations managers to ensure continued success in the commercial process
- Identify, track, report on, and resolve pricing-related issues in a timely manner
- Participate in special projects, communications, and organizational changes related to commercial pricing
- Engage in projects related to opportunity management and commercial data
- Partner with contract and legal teams to expedite the client contracting process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Detail-oriented work ethic with the ability to produce highly accurate work
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills coupled with excellent communication abilities
- Ownership mentality with demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion
- Problem-solving skills using statistical analysis or large data sets
- Experience in collaborative environments, understanding business challenges, building relationships, and driving outcomes
- Ability to translate complex or detailed analysis into clear, actionable summaries or recommendations
- Comfort with ambiguity and change, adaptability, and ability to create clarity in dynamic environments
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
- Proactive problem identification and eagerness to build solutions from scratch
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
