Overview
This is a fully remote role.
The organization is a provider in the automotive, industrial, and commercial lubricants sector, specializing in reliability services. This position supports the Pricing & Profitability team by managing and optimizing pricing data and initiatives to help ensure accurate pricing administration, analysis, and informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and maintain pricing and cost data across multiple warehouses and systems.
- Manage customer pricing, including special, contract, customer-specific pricing, price levels, file backs, and fuel pricing tables.
- Collaborate with the Shared Purchasing team to maintain accurate product costs.
- Review and approve CPQ quote requests within thresholds and escalate as needed.
- Identify and manage file back opportunities for non-strategic brands.
- Maintain pricing automation data (e.g., Chevron C2 Rebate fields).
- Support Strategic Pricing Managers with market price changes, mass updates, and pricing initiatives.
- Assist with supplier rebate and file back submissions for various programs.
- Conduct quarterly rebate and MSA reconciliation audits.
- Review vendor credit variances and resolve pricing discrepancies.
- Audit and maintain automated customer fee structures and pricing compliance.
- Support pricing setup and data migration for acquisitions.
- Maintain strategic price levels, price code files, and pricing master data.
- Perform pricing data cleanup and ongoing maintenance.
- Analyze pricing data and provide reports to support business decisions.
- Respond to pricing inquiries from branch locations and sales teams.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with pricing and financial data.
- Experience in pricing analysis and trend identification.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience with DM2 or similar ERP/business systems.
- Preferred experience in pricing, finance, business analytics, sales operations, or related fields.
- Preferred experience maintaining pricing databases or ERP systems.
- Familiarity with supplier rebate and contract pricing programs (a plus).
