Overview
This remote position is part of the Mission Systems Business Development (BD) Support Operations team. The role leads efforts to track, maintain, and forecast Mission Systems BD budgets. It supports both the BD Operations support team and the assigned BD portfolio team by assessing customer and business needs and developing financial administration improvements across tracking, forecasting, training, and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead discretionary reporting, forecasting, and analysis for a Mission Systems BD portfolio with >$6 million annual discretionary operating plan
- Lead organization and compilation of the respective BD portfolio’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with the respective BD leads
- Clearly communicate analysis and materials within the Mission BD organization to business unit leadership
- Lead portfolio coordination for consultant establishment and renewals
- Manage cadencing and ordering hardware, including executing bailment/hardware new builds
- Coordinate with shipping departments to ship BD bailment hardware to events and customers
- Develop solutions to complex problems to support strategic planning and decision making
- Interface professionally with all levels of the organization, including individual contributors, subject matter experts, front-line management, and senior leaders
- Work under minimal supervision by determining assignment objectives, planning schedules, and arranging own activities
- Ensure accurate, on-time, in-scope, and within-budget delivery of portfolio deliverables
- Prepare monthly cadence packages, conduct analyses on actuals and forecasts, and make financial recommendations
- Collaborate across multiple business units to present monthly reports to BD leadership and develop recommendations to support discretionary budget decisions
Qualifications
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- Experience using SAP is required

- Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD (good faith estimate)

Additional compensation and eligibility for benefits may vary by business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may also be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on position level and coverage.

- Travel to the site location may be expected as needed
