Overview

A finance organization is seeking a motivated individual to join their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team within the Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area. This multi-billion dollar portfolio includes multiple product lines with major flagship programs and new pursuits. The FP&A function partners with business leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights, driving planning, forecasting, and performance management. This role focuses on the core salient performance portion of FP&A and offers significant visibility by shaping the financial narrative for the ECS portfolio of programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate quarterly CFO Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Integrated Business Plan Reviews, ensuring input quality
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and closing activities
  • Own the accuracy and integrity of forecasts and related financial data
  • Identify risks and opportunities related to key financial metrics
  • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence tools for the organization
  • Interface with other functions and serve as a consultant for project finance personnel
  • Provide business area training as required
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and support as needed
  • Develop creative solutions to problems and drive organizational change

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • 3–6 years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A, preferably within defense, aerospace, or maritime industries
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex modeling, macros, and data manipulation
  • Strong aptitude for data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large datasets into concise executive summaries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of finance, accounting, business and economic principles, financial modeling, and visualization tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data clearly and persuasively to non-financial stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-Time Salary Range: $101,398 - $172,377
  • Salary is determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience
