Overview

A Program Analyst position is available to support an International Air Force program. This role involves overseeing and managing the financial budget in collaboration with the Project Manager, Program Management Office, and Government Mission Partner. The analyst will participate in planning, tracking, analyzing, and reporting project financials, implementing financial policies and procedures, and maintaining cost and schedule baselines and forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track funding, forecasts, actuals, and Estimates at Completion (EAC) to ensure sufficient contract funding supports execution timelines
  • Collaborate with program and procurement analysts to forecast and track travel, procurement, and staffing budgets
  • Monitor ongoing projects and act as a liaison between program management and project teams
  • Provide occasional after-hours support to meet schedules
  • Review project and budget status, manage schedules, and prepare status reports
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, performance, and schedule goals
  • Develop and deliver financial updates to customers and project teams regarding program and project processes and requirements
  • Develop and apply mechanisms for monitoring project progress and problem solving
  • Ensure contract requirements are met
  • Track personnel vacancies and assist with staff onboarding
  • Ensure contractual and corporate cost and schedule objectives are achieved

Requirements

  • Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with employees and government customers
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and meet deadlines
  • Data entry and data management proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor's degree and 15 years of relevant experience providing customer service, administrative, financial, operations, travel, procurement, or program support, preferably to government customers; relevant experience may substitute for degree
  • U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with business technology
  • Knowledge of Federal and Joint Travel Regulations
  • Procurement experience
  • Proficiency in SharePoint

Compensation & Benefits

  • Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000, depending on experience and other factors

Location

  • Remote work option available

  • Travel: Approximately 10% of the time
  • Schedule: Casual (includes on-call and temporary)
  • Shift: Day job

Security Clearance

  • Minimum clearance required: Secret
  • Must be able to obtain clearance if not currently held
