Overview
This position supports programs in the Public Service & Infrastructure portfolio in the Enterprise Civil Division, within the organization’s Digital Sector Civilian Agency Solution Business Area. The role supports multiple IT-oriented contracts and serves as a liaison between project management teams, finance, and line management.
The Program Financial Control Analyst will work independently to support assigned project objectives, with measurable impact on operational accomplishments. Responsibilities include financial control activities such as planning, tracking, analysis, reporting, and billing support.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor contract actuals and performance
- Perform month-end analysis of plan vs. actuals, including understanding variance drivers
- Conduct monthly invoice review, approval, and prepare backup documentation when required
- Track A/R for assigned contracts
- Prepare Quarterly Financial Status Review (QFSR)
- Prepare quarterly forecasts for assigned contracts
- Provide ad hoc reporting for assigned contracts
- Maintain regular communication with the management team
- Review project status and budgets
- Manage schedules
- Prepare status reports
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and supporting intervention/problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2-4 years of professional experience; or 1-2 years of prior relevant experience with a related Master’s degree
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skillset
- Ability to work across multiple contracts and communicate with several stakeholders
- Independent worker with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer focused
- Able to work successfully in a remote team environment in diverse locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of multiple contract types, especially FFP and T&M
- Ability to thoroughly review EACs for accuracy and compliance
- Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence
- Experience with Fusion
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered include responsibilities of the role, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
