Overview
A healthcare organization is seeking a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) - Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate to join their team remotely in Tennessee. This role focuses on ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement for outpatient physical and occupational therapy services.
Responsibilities
- Review and resolve unpaid accounts to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
- Reduce aged accounts receivable balances while meeting productivity goals.
- Verify payer information, review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and correct account issues.
- Document all account activity clearly and accurately.
- Identify and report trends, errors, or concerns.
- Complete tasks and escalations within required deadlines.
- Stay updated on payer changes and share relevant information.
- Attend required virtual meetings with camera on.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of one year experience in Revenue Cycle, Medicare, and Commercial Insurance within a high-production environment.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proven problem-solving skills with timely resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in Revenue Cycle, Medicare, and Commercial Insurance in a high-production environment.
- Experience identifying process improvements and recommending solutions.
