Overview
This role is for a Regional Revenue Senior Living Manager responsible for managing billing operations and provider credentialing within a centralized billing office. The position involves overseeing billing staff, ensuring accurate and timely claim submissions, managing healthcare provider credentialing, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage billing staff and oversee daily billing operations
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims
- Oversee provider credentialing processes
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations related to billing, collections, credentialing, and healthcare privacy laws
- Drive process improvements and optimize revenue cycle performance
- Utilize billing software, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office Suite
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve operational efficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle management, or financial operations
- At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of billing processes, coding, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare regulations
- Experience with billing software, EHR systems, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and behavior
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Certified Professional Biller (CPB), Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS), or Certified Professional Medical Services Manager (CPMSM)
