Remote Accounting Expert (AI Evaluator) — $80-$120/hr

Overview

An exclusive opportunity is available for certified accounting professionals to contribute to the development of advanced AI models in the accounting domain. This role involves applying your expertise to help build AI systems capable of reasoning about real-world accounting tasks by translating financial workflows and decision-making into structured training data.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic accounting scenarios and tasks based on daily professional experience, such as month-end close, tax filings, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Review and compare AI-generated accounting outputs for mathematical accuracy, compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, and sound professional judgment.
• Create structured examples demonstrating how accountants approach complex financial problems.
• Provide clear, analytical written feedback to enhance the AI's accounting capabilities.

Requirements

• Must be currently located in the United States.
• Hold an active professional credential such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, EA, or an equivalent certification.
• Have at least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, tax, bookkeeping, or finance operations within public accounting, corporate/in-house, or advisory roles.
• Possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Be highly proficient with common accounting tools including QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, and Excel.
• Note: Candidates on H1-B or STEM OPT visas are not eligible.

Compensation & Work Structure

• Hourly rate between $80 and $120 USD.
• Fully remote, independent contractor position with flexible scheduling.
• Weekly payments processed via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
