Overview
This position is a 100% remote CPA Accountant/Relationship Manager (permanent direct hire). The role requires the right candidate to be a CPA and to live in EST, CST, or MST. Availability between 8:30 and 4:30 CST is required to answer questions, with flexibility for other scheduling.
Compensation starts at $85,000 (salary; not hourly) for a 40-hour week year-round. There is a stated path to $205,000 salary based on client count.
Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping
- Prepare monthly reports
- Support tax planning
- Process payroll
- Handle 1099 reporting
- Complete annual report filings
- Provide client communication and relationship management
- Assist with tax preparation for clients
Work is divided between:
- 20 hours per week of technical work
- 10–20 hours per week of client communication, relationship management, and tax preparation
Requirements
- Must be a CPA
- Must live in EST, CST, or MST
- Must be available between 8:30 and 4:30 CST to answer questions

- Path to $205,000 salary based on client count:
- $85,000 (50 clients)
- $125,000 (75 clients)
- $165,000 (100 clients)
- Up to $205,000 salary (125 clients)
