Overview
The organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Associate for a new opportunity with an existing federal customer. This role supports program execution in partnership with the client, the Program Manager, and subject matter experts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and experience taking ownership of work assignments.
This position is 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Develop documentation templates and protocols
- Attend and document executive-level meetings
- Perform accounting research
- Develop presentations for client management
- Develop policy and procedure templates and a repository
- Develop new or update accounting policies, procedures, and process maps
- Perform walk-through interviews of process owners
- Design financial management dashboard(s), including identifying content and working with SMEs to develop deliverables
- Design presentation templates and graphic design tools and guidance
- Develop training
Requirements (Minimum)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years of federal accounting or federal financial statement audit experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a high-ownership environment
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
