This role requires expertise in SBO 2000/SBO.net, with a focus on Master Servicing and servicer transfers within the mortgage industry. It is not an entry-level position, and transferable analyst skills will not be considered. Candidates must have experience in one or more of these key areas to be eligible.

Location and Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid role for candidates living within a commutable distance to the Highlands Ranch, CO office, requiring in-office presence 2-6 days per month.
  • Remote option available for candidates living more than 60 miles from the Highlands Ranch, CO office, typically out of state.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile complex reports from primary servicers under strict deadlines, ensuring compliance with agreements and departmental policies.
  • Conduct research on complex issues related to servicer reporting, servicer transfers, cash settlement issues, and servicer inquiries.
  • Identify and correct complex servicing errors or discrepancies, ensuring accurate information is provided to trusts and investors.
  • Communicate with third parties regarding complex verbal and written loan-level requests.
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-demand investors, addressing their needs to satisfy and retain clients.
  • Lead and execute projects involving business partners, IT, vendors, and senior management to implement process improvements.
  • Analyze current processes, identify disconnects, and re-engineer workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Develop and lead best practices around data analytics, dashboarding, and reporting.
  • Create, maintain, and own analytical models and dashboards for internal and external clients.
  • Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum of 5+ years of related work experience required. Mortgage and/or financial services experience is a plus. High school diploma or state-approved equivalency required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with SBO 2000 or SBO.NET or comparable primary servicing systems.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced computer and software skills necessary for job functions; ability to manipulate data and create specific reports. Experience with SQL, SSRS, and/or Microsoft Power BI is a significant plus.
  • Leadership: Operates effectively under general supervision, builds strong relationships within the team and department, and takes initiative to add value.
  • Decision Making: Some authority on daily work assignments; seeks advice when needed and applies analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of crafting clear correspondence.
  • Impact: Decisions and actions have a high impact on team, department, business line, and clients. Demonstrates willingness to exceed minimum requirements to enhance customer experience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $64,000 to $122,000 annually.
  • Eligibility for annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
