Overview
This full-time remote opportunity involves managing and optimizing retail credit systems and processes. The role focuses on maintaining system settings, credit parameters, product updates, and decision criteria with a comprehensive understanding of retail credit. It includes analyzing application trends and consumer loan performance using data analytics to recommend credit policy changes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure system settings and test credit parameters and criteria.
- Maintain, update, and test products, policies, decision criteria, and pricing schemas.
- Analyze application approval/decline trends and loan performance to recommend credit policy adjustments.
- Develop business reporting including production, operations, and performance reports from loan origination systems and other data sources.
- Maintain data hygiene and integrity for retail credit.
- Interact directly with external vendors and partners.
- Utilize technology systems to support credit processes and execute strategic directions for workflow efficiencies and optimizations.
- Maintain and assist with products, scoring criteria, auto decision criteria, and pricing schemas through system interfaces.
- Analyze underwriting decision criteria based on loan performance trends.
- Develop and produce credit and operational management reports.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain standard operating procedures and change logs for retail credit Loan Origination Systems.
- Serve as subject matter expert for credit reporting requirements and testing solutions.
- Identify and communicate process gaps impacting credit to relevant business units and management.
- Escalate unresolved issues and communicate with key stakeholders and IT as needed.
- Comply with all assigned compliance programs, regulations, policies, and training requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, management information systems, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial services sector, preferably with credit reporting and analytics.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship for a work visa.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
- 2 or more years of experience with SQL.
- 2 or more years of experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $57,800.00 - $96,300.00 annually, determined by candidate knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
- Eligibility to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan based on individual and company performance.
