Overview
A healthcare organization based in Los Angeles, recognized for excellence in medical care and workplace environment, is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist II to support commercial collections within Patient Financial Services. Responsibilities
- Provide commercial collections support following established practices and guidelines
- Review and resubmit claims to third-party payors
- Perform account follow-up activities and update account information
- Interpret and explain payor contracts and billing and collections policies
- Assist other team members as needed
- Cross-train in other revenue cycle functions and provide back-up coverage
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of specialized revenue cycle functions
- Strong customer service skills
- Analytical and prioritization abilities
- Ability to understand, interpret, and explain payor contracts and organizational billing and collections policies
- Capacity to work independently
Compensation
- Pay range and compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
