Overview

A remote Revenue Manager position is available for candidates located in AZ, FL, GA, HI, IL, MI, MT, NC, SC, TX, or WA. This salaried, exempt role reports to the Director of Revenue Management and focuses on optimizing revenue performance for a multi-million-dollar portfolio through data-driven strategies and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Analysis & Strategy (65%)

    • Analyze unit/location performance and booking dynamics using KPIs and analytics tools to derive actionable insights.
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies and inventory controls to maximize revenue, considering intra-location unit pricing relationships.
    • Monitor price resistance relative to capacity and adjust pricing accordingly.
    • Conduct competitive benchmarking and maintain market positioning.
    • Understand market and property dynamics, including contract details affecting revenue and profitability.
    • Lead monthly and quarterly portfolio performance reviews.
    • Manage revenue systems (PriceLabs, IRIS, PRE, Admin Portal) and promote technology enhancements.
    • Oversee inventory management to align availability with demand.
  • Business Engagement & Collaboration (25%)

    • Partner with Real Estate Finance, Asset, Care, and Sales teams to build confidence in pricing strategies and support revenue growth.
    • Collaborate on underwriting new acquisitions and renewals.
    • Work with Marketing and Care on demand generation and merchandising for distressed or seasonal inventory.
    • Provide pricing and availability support to Care & Sales teams.
    • Serve as a revenue management subject matter expert across the organization.
    • Represent the revenue management function professionally in all internal and external communications.
  • Special Assignments & Projects (10%)

    • Contribute expertise to strategic projects such as product launches, system upgrades, and market expansions.
    • Lead or support projects requiring detailed pricing or revenue analysis.
    • Document knowledge and assist in training new team members.
  • Supervision and Decision-Making

    • Performs routine and complex tasks within established policies, receiving direction on new initiatives.
    • Responsible for recommending and implementing revenue strategies and pricing policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Revenue Management within the short-term rental market or a closely related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, especially in optimizing fixed-capacity assets.
  • High business acumen and professionalism with effective collaboration skills.
  • Ability to quickly synthesize and interpret large data sets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting).
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong mathematical and quantitative business skills including budgeting, profit/loss analysis, and variance calculations.
  • Comfortable taking measured risks in uncertain environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and collaboratively across teams.
  • Quick learner of various software systems and programs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
  • Paid time off accrues each pay period, totaling 15 days annually plus nine paid holidays.
