Overview
This role involves entering patient/client billing information into designated software, working on routine assignments within established guidelines and procedures. The position requires following daily instructions and maintaining accuracy in billing processes.
Responsibilities
- Enter patient/client billing data accurately into provided software.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding claim creation errors.
- Verify accuracy of data, compile information, and translate it into multiple formats.
- Ensure accurate submission of client claims.
- Review daily collections and monthly reports.
- Provide recommendations for billing audits.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred.
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred.
- Data entry billing experience preferred.
- Experience in revenue cycle billing, collections, or reimbursement preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) Certification through HFMA preferred.
Organizational Requirements
- Compliance with required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, with medical and religious exemptions applicable.
- Participation in E-Verify program is required.
